Nikki evans
Lawyer
Nikki turned to the legal profession to find a career where both her empathy and frankness could shine equally bright. Nikki works diligently in using her many skills to resolve files efficiently and effectively, navigating her clients through what is often the most difficult time in their lives.
Nikki strives to earn and deserve the trust her clients place in her every day. She values open exchanges of ideas and information with her clients, and the entire Visionary Team. It is this constant exchange of information and development of knowledge that empowers Nikki to skillfully advocate for her clients.
One file that made all of Nikki’s hard work to become a lawyer worthwhile was where she was able to help her client de-escalate a file that started as contentious litigation to ending as a co-operative separation agreement. Nikki worked to ensure that both the parties and opposing counsel kept perspective so that negotiations stayed on track. Nikki’s success was accomplished by being an active listener, a passionate advocate, and by providing honest and thoughtful advice.
Underlying that easy-going smile, however, is a serious and robust love of food. Nikki’s dream vacation is to fly around the world enjoying the best food in flight. Her death row meal? salmon sushi, New York style pizza, and perogies, followed by a Kit Kat bar and Jeannie’s cake for dessert. Just hold the sour cream.
Visionary Inspiration
Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the visionary that has had the most impact on Nikki. Ginsburg’s career in legal profession challenged societal norms and pushed boundaries. Although she has been questioned and discouraged throughout her career, she persisted and rose to the top of the legal profession in the United States by advocating for marginalized people in society.
Education
- J.D., University of Manitoba
- B.A., University of Manitoba
My child support case was open in June 2016. It was very complicated because both the Canadian Law and International Law were involved. My lawyer Nikki A. Evans had to work with more than 400 sheets of evidence. She had to go to court with a big wheel suitcase full of my documents. Before her, the case was conducted by three other lawyers who either made a lot of errors or did nothing and only wasted precious time. After those three lawyers’ failed work, Nikki A. Evans actually had to start my case from scratch when I first approached her in 2019. I am happy that I have found her. She is a very intelligent and competent lawyer, a professional of the highest degree, capable of solving the most difficult legal problems in the interests of her client. She is a very sweet, kind, and friendly person with whom it is such a pleasure to communicate.
My lawyer was always in touch, quickly and competently answered all my emails and questions, and spoke flawlessly at court hearings. At one of the hearings, the judge highlighted the excellent work of my lawyer and her boss, which is the best evaluation. Thanks to my own account on the company's website, I could see all my case documents. At the same time, I always knew precisely for what specific work I was paying; I received detailed reports along with each invoice from my lawyer. The work is really well done.
My lawyer won the case in court with the best result for me and my children. The court transferred my ex-husband's real estate ownership under my name to pay off his debt to me and my children. I am very happy and endlessly grateful to my lawyer Nikki and her boss Lillian for the work done. I consider the company Visionary Low to be the best choice for any family law issue.
