Merissa Stewart
Lawyer
At the young age of eight years old, Merissa became interested in becoming a lawyer after watching Legally Blonde for the first time. Merissa was captivated by a lawyer’s ability to advocate for clients and was inspired to do the same. After articling with Visionary Law, Merissa continued her work with the firm when she was offered an Associate position at the firm. After her articling and exposure to different types of files, Merissa has gained an interest and experience in complex division of property matters. In dealing with such files and all other files, Merissa considers herself to be a professional problem solver, working with her clients to achieve unique resolution for each client.
When Merissa is not working, she can be found trading her mountains of paperwork for mountain views, while hiking and basking in nature. Merissa’s love for the outdoors has taken her across Canada in pursuit of chasing new trails and views. Throughout her travels, Merissa is always searching for the best local places to eat and can never turn down the opportunity to try new foods.
The visionary with the greatest impact on Merissa is Rachel Carson, because of her ability to persevere and stand against public pressure in the name of what she believed to be just, that being modern environmentalism. Rachel’s ability to resist the mainstream thinking of her generation in order to progress modern environmentalism has long inspired Merissa in her perception and practice of law.

My child support case was open in June 2016. It was very complicated because both the Canadian Law and International Law were involved. My lawyer Nikki A. Evans had to work with more than 400 sheets of evidence. She had to go to court with a big wheel suitcase full of my documents. Before her, the case was conducted by three other lawyers who either made a lot of errors or did nothing and only wasted precious time. After those three lawyers’ failed work, Nikki A. Evans actually had to start my case from scratch when I first approached her in 2019. I am happy that I have found her. She is a very intelligent and competent lawyer, a professional of the highest degree, capable of solving the most difficult legal problems in the interests of her client. She is a very sweet, kind, and friendly person with whom it is such a pleasure to communicate.
My lawyer was always in touch, quickly and competently answered all my emails and questions, and spoke flawlessly at court hearings. At one of the hearings, the judge highlighted the excellent work of my lawyer and her boss, which is the best evaluation. Thanks to my own account on the company's website, I could see all my case documents. At the same time, I always knew precisely for what specific work I was paying; I received detailed reports along with each invoice from my lawyer. The work is really well done.
My lawyer won the case in court with the best result for me and my children. The court transferred my ex-husband's real estate ownership under my name to pay off his debt to me and my children. I am very happy and endlessly grateful to my lawyer Nikki and her boss Lillian for the work done. I consider the company Visionary Low to be the best choice for any family law issue.
